**Community Service projects include:
Habitat for Humanity – Playhouse Build: Habitat believes in a world where everyone has a decent place to live. This volunteer opportunity gives a meaningful, creative, and hands-on morning of building playhouses that are then donated to local families of first responders and military. The project will take place outdoors and is inclusive to all skills and abilities with a variety of tasks to choose from such as painting, cutting, and assembly, with our professional staff to guide you throughout the process.
The Painted Turtle – No-Sew Blanket Making: The Painted Turtle is a year-round medical specialty camp that gives children with serious illnesses an experience that fosters personal growth, self-confidence, and possibility. This project will take place indoors and involves cutting and tying fleece together to create cozy blankets that each camper gets take home with them to remember their time at camp.
